As an esthetician, I get to play around with all types of different brands of wax. I discovered a very unique wax called Starpil and got hooked when I found that I hardly got red from their hard wax. Starpil wax originates from Spain, and it is the best wax in the industry for getting smooth and long-lasting results because of the top-notch ingredients that give this European wax great flexibility.
I have chosen to work with Starpil Pink film hard wax on my clients because the polymer blend has special anti-inflammatory ingredients and adheres very well to very fine hairs making it the ideal choice for facial hair removal, underarm hair removal, and Brazilian waxing.
Before coming in for an appointment, please be aware of the following:
1. Mild Exfoliating a couple of days before treatment is strongly recommended
2. Hair must be as long as a grain of rice
3. If menstruating, intimate waxing is not recommended
4. Avoid alcohol before your appointment
5. Loose fitted clothing is recommended for maximum comfort
6. Ibuprofen/acetaminophen an hour before the service may decrease pain
7. Avoid taking a shower right before waxing, it will soften hairs causing breakage
8. Notify your esthetician if you are taking any medications to avoid complications
9. Avoid heavy exercise that will increase perspiration and chaffing for about 24-48 hours after waxing. And, no shower or oral sex for 10 hours after a Brazilian.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I GET MY WAXING TREATMENT?
Due to different stages of the hair growth cycle, we suggest booking your appointments once a
month. Over time, with regular waxing, the hair follicle will have less of a grip on the hair to be pulled and the hairs will come out more easily.
WILL I GET INGROWN HAIRS?
Use a gentle scrub or exfoliating agent in that area about 2 days after waxing and continue to exfoliate 1 to 2 times a week thereafter.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR WHILE I AM GETTING A BIKINI WAX OR A BRAZILIAN WAX?
We will provide you with disposable bikini bottoms for your comfort during the bikini wax service.
IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT FOR ANY OF THE WAXINGS?
We will wax clients of any age, but if you are younger than 18 we do require a parent to accompany you to sign our waxing consent form. The only service for which you must be 18
years of age or older is the Brazilian wax.

Why is Keratin Lash Lift better than Eyelash Extensions?
Did you know you can achieve the semi-permanent lift and curl of extensions while keeping your natural lashes damage-free? Ditch the eyelash curler! Your lashes on average will stay curled and lifted up to six to eight weeks depending on your lash hair growth cycle. Lash lifts set the shape of your natural lashes using a chemical solution.
An eye-safe perming solution is applied to your lashes on top of a silicone shield. The perming solution never touches your skin, only your lashes. The procedure takes about an hour, and then a setting solution is followed by a nourishing lotion, which contains keratin and sodium PCA to add moisture back in the lashes. You need to wait 24 hours
before applying mascara. You may opt to do a combo treatment, LASH LIFT plus LASH TINT, which will help to add extra depth and darkness. The lash tint we use comes from Germany and will last you about three to four weeks.

Q: How do I need to prepare for the treatment?
A: PLEASE ARRIVE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT COMPLETELY FREE OF EYE MAKE
UP! Also, you must stop the usage of waterproof mascara at least 2 days prior to your Lift!
If you wear contacts, they must be removed.
Q: Is this like lash extension where they will look dramatically thicker?
A: Lash extensions and lash lifts are 2 totally different services. I will not be adding any additional lashes to you. Lash Lift is low maintenance. That said, for most, it can make
your lashes appear fuller because they are so uplifted.
Q: What are the post-treatment instructions?
A: Don't get your lashes wet or apply steam at all to them for 24 hours. Steer clear of
waterproof mascara the entire life of your Lift. Brush out the lashes daily. Do not use oil
based makeup remover for 48 hours post-treatment.
Q: Can I book this on the same day as a facial?
A: Absolutely Yes!
Q: Is there any maintenance in between Lifts?
A: You don't have to do anything special with your lashes in between lifts other than
giving them a good brush out daily and stay away from waterproof mascara. I also
recommend purchasing an Eyebrow conditioning gel that we carry in our online store.
This helps keep lashes soft and healthy.
Q: Can I still wear mascara?
A: Of course! You'll just achieve a more dramatic effect when mascara is applied to your
curled lashes. We do not recommend waterproof mascara.

Anita Dholakia has taken Advanced Threading courses in United Kingdom to learn the ancient art of removing unwanted hairs with precision. She has also worked at Seva Beauty, at one of the nationwide locations performing over 25 eyebrow sessions per day. In threading, a thin cotton thread is doubled, then twisted. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Threading allows for a more defined and precise shape and can create better definition for eyebrows.
